Nizhny Novgorod's Kremlin and a beautiful view on the river... I think it is Volga, but it might be Oka. I can't remember for sure. Those two rivers come together at one point - or they split up, I still don't get it -so the city stands on two rivers.
There are two parts of the city. One is called the lower part and the other the upper part or 'high land' :). So this picture is taken from the 'high land' and it looks over the edge of the 'lower land'.
Rough translation is: 'Damn, vandals all around us'... or something like that. If my fellow groupmates would like to suggest their variant of translation I'd be happy to put it up here.
